William Michael Skiver, age 77, of Wheelersburg, passed away peacefully on August 15, 2026, surrounded by his family. Born on April 17, 1949, in Portsmouth, he was the cherished son of the late Lottie Mae Springer Estep and Willard Estep.

Mike graduated from Glenwood High School in 1967 and continued his education at Rio Grande College, graduating in 1971.

Surviving are his wife, Cathy Riffe Skiver; three sons, Chris (Amanda), Nathan (Jennifer), and Jeremy (Tabitha); two brothers, Jerry Skiver and Tab (Monica) Estep and his beloved grandchildren, MacKenzie, Hannah, Sydney, Allison, Dylan, Aubrey, Avery, and Aiden.

A Celebration of Mike’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, August 21, 2026, at Brant Preston Funeral Home in Sciotoville, officiated by Pastor Rob Casey. Interment will follow at Memorial Burial Park. Friends and family are invited to gather on Thursday, August 20, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
