Todd Preston
Owner, Funeral Director & Embalmer
Todd Preston is the proud owner of Brant Preston Funeral Service and a licensed funeral director and embalmer with 33 years of experience serving families throughout Southern Ohio.
A graduate of Wheelersburg High School, Todd attended Marshall University before earning his bachelor’s degree from the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science. Throughout his career, Todd has remained committed to providing families with compassionate, professional, and personal care during some of life’s most difficult moments.
As the new owner of Brant Preston Funeral Service, Todd is honored to carry forward the funeral home’s tradition of serving families and the community while building upon that tradition for future generations. His goal is to provide every family with the same personal attention, dignity, and care he would want for his own family.
Todd is married to Jill Williams Preston, a graduate of Wheelersburg High School, Morehead State University, and the University of Phoenix. Jill is employed by Southern Ohio Medical Center, where she serves as Manager of Workforce Development and Community Health and Wellness.
Todd and Jill have one son, Tanner, who is employed as a Medical Staff Services Departmental Assistant at Southern Ohio Medical Center. Their family also includes their miniature schnauzer, Griffin.
Todd is honored to serve the families of Southern Ohio as the owner of Brant Preston Funeral Service and looks forward to continuing a tradition of compassionate and meaningful funeral service for years to come.

Georgianna Black
Funeral Assistant
Georgianna is a native of Scioto County, a graduate of Clay High School and Grant Hospital School of Nursing in Columbus.
She retired in 2019 after 58 years in nursing, having worked Medical Surgical patient care, Pediatrics, Public Health/School Nurse and Nursing Rehabilitation.
Georgianna attends the Cedar Street Church of Christ in Christian Union in New Boston and her hobbies are reading and crafts. She has one son, Bill Mershon.
She joined the Brant Preston Funeral Service staff in July 2022.

Caden Cline
Funeral Assistant
Caden Cline has been a dedicated member of our funeral home staff since July 2025. A 2020 graduate of Clay High School and a lifelong resident of Scioto County, Caden plays an important role as a funeral attendant, providing compassionate support and operational assistance to the families we serve.
Recognized for his genuine care, compassion, and commitment to both families and the community, Caden will begin college coursework this spring as he pursues his long-term goal of earning a degree in Mortuary Science. We value Caden as a member of our team and are excited to support his continued professional growth and advancement within the funeral service profession.
